One of the reasons I didn't enter this challenge was because I was not creative enough to think of a picture that exhibited complementary colors and didn't involve a flower... I see that you too have failed at at least one of these, but a nice picture none-the-less. 7

I really feel you have a great potential for a stunning shot here. The thing that is really turning me off though is the green background, it makes the purple seem too flat. I would suggest sniping this little guy and putting it in front of a white, black or even yellow background and you'd have an explosive image. I give this a 6.
