Fireworksby NeVeRynComment by bassbone: i love these flowers - i just wonder if the image is slightly underexposed - it doesn't have that vibrancy that would really kick it up a knotch |

Remembering Summerby NeVeRynComment by SaraR: Love the title! The sharp spider's web adds a really nice touch to the image - it seems to be pulling the plant, which in turn is strongly resisting. I agree with marnet that it may be worth playing with saturation, and also perhaps a slight tweak with levels or curves, as it seems slightly dull, as opposed to gently subdued. A photo that articulates something to me, and that suits an impressionistic take. |

Remembering Summerby NeVeRynComment by MargaretNet: First Impressions: I noticed diagonal lines at first, the colors are very muted
Technique: I assume taken with shallow DOF against side light
Suggestions: I probably would play around with color saturation and crops
Overall I am not sure what style it represents. Maybe we should come up with our own categories? :) |
