by jmritzComment by bvy: This requires an investment of at least a minute on the viewer's part. I've been here a few now. It's easy to dismiss all that darkness as noir, or worse, negative space. But hold it in your eye for a few moments, and an entire scene seems to emerge from it. (Are those headlights in the distance?)

keeping the monsters outby jmritzComment by tvsometime: My highest in the challenge, something's fishy here...? This shot has it all - composition and an abstract sense of what is (or is not) real. The veil between us and the monster seems inadequate to the task but the power of the mind makes it all work. I like the monster alarm bell too. What a hoot! |
