curbsideby jmritzComment by blindjustice: takes guts to enter this, but I can see the party. I can feel where the celebration is, and perhaps never ends. |

curbsideby jmritzComment by MarkB: I'm curious to what these folks are doing. I'm struggling to relate this image to the topic but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. |

time's a loaded gunby jmritzComment by RyanW: my 2nd highest vote in the challenge with a 9
the title is an adage i have not heard in a long time and is a fresh take on shooting such a (pardon the obvious pun) powder keg of a subject.
i've upvoted imagery here that has gone against the standard of just taking pictures of firearms and have thrown a new perspective at people to see a different idea of "gun".
time's arrow points us ever forward, with no offramp to go back and see what was missed, and is met at the end with a sudden and inevitable stop. |

another springby jmritzComment by streetpigeon: A casual, offhanded nod to symmetry in the midst of everyday life. The wheel barrow's handles/legs shyly peek out from behind the load. A biker happens by. The image is well and pleasingly balanced in tone and composition. Impressionistic. Satisfying. |

after workby jmritzComment by RyanW: I'm quite enjoying this entry and it looks very familiar (though that could be just because of the haze making the hill look quite generic).
The layers of symmetry work well here, and though not identical, they are still symmetrical and pleasing to the eye.
I hope this does well, but sadly I feel this will be missed by many.
a 9 from me. |
