I don't think having 99% of the image out of focus and colored in dull tones is doing this photo any favors. Some more sharpness on the in-focus subject at the bottom would also help. If you would have angled the camera parallel to the leg (if that's what you call it), the whole thing would have been in focus and you could have kept the bokeh in the background and made it look like less of an accident for lack of a better word.

So often people fail to use what is in the frame, what is not, and some mix thereof, to prove the point. These are easy tools in writing, or music- alliteration, onomatopoeia, caesura, dramatic pauses, etc. However, it is underused in photography. perfectly used here.

Maybe you were going for abstract, but it's a good idea that could have been better executed by traveling or panning at closer to the speed of the boy on the bike, which would make him sharper and the background blurred.
