Very interesting flat-toned image, even Edward Hopperish. Good composition. The portrait aspect is beautifully minimal. The bouquet or umbrella emanating from her head certainly adds a quirky note, but I frankly believe the image is so strong that it is not needed and detracts more than it adds, but that's the way it was and I respect that and the photographer's vision. Fine image.

photography is about making choices.

you shoot behind the characters, show them in the effect the have on others. Instead of being in the photo, they loom over it.
