5 - Interesting/unusual view. Never seen down a bird's throat before. Criticism; based on your title and the subject, I'm guessing the bird/character was to be the main focus here. In this Challenge, for me anyway, looking to the 'rule', the thing I see 'primarily' is what I commented on - down the throat. While interesting, unless this was your intent, I think it needs a different crop or focus to 'deliver' what you were setting out to do. The detail in the nose and feathers around it is good, but I would like to have seen the tip of the beak in focus as well. This has potential, especially with the colors (though the dark background I am not sure on), but I think you need to either 'zoom out', or different angle.

I must admit that I tried to be like an owl and turned my head around to see this photo from an upside down view. I can't quite tell if that's water or if you used some photo editing filters...interesting.

The background looks wavy like a reflection but I have no reference to show me that's what I'm looking at. The end result is that I am uncomfortable viewing the image. The title seems to make me want to be comfortable so it conflicts with the uncertainty of the image.
