the M&M's look a little too bright on some places though, a more uniform light would've been better

And how! This is the story of my life ... er ... mouth. Clever idea.

As for the picture, it's pretty flat. The lighting is harsh and very bright, leaving no shadows long enough to give the objects any depth.

Still the focus is good. All of it adds up to a 5 from me.
