This looks like an underwater anemone. some open and some closed to feed at different times! The colors suggest the aqua feel too. Fascinating to look at.

Your story just cracked me up, good thing I work alone of they'd think I was nuts (okay, maybe they actually wouldn't).

Don't you just hate those things? But this is cool, he looks like he's got a coat of armour on. Good focus, leaving the flower dreamy and abstract.
