gentle touchby jmritzComment by dtremain: No features on the head, and the tree, though a very strong element, is out of focus. The back of the bird is too dark. I too like the deep blue, but it just isn't enough to overcome the other shortcomings, IM-NSH-O.

redby jmritzComment by dtremain: I'm with sulamk on the tail. Even so, this is very nice. Love the lighting on the head and breast, the details in the feathers, the position of his head, the blurred background that brings out the tan in the feathers. Very, very nice. |
