The bird almost looks like an oil painting. This might've been from a lot of sharpening or something but it looks good. Would've liked to have seen him in colour too but at the same time, if he's a common sparrow like I think he might be, his brown colouring might not have brought much oomph to the photo. I like the centering.

Adorable little bird with nice detail. Looks good in B&W. Maybe needed a touch more DOF or the focal point shifted, as the leaves on the lower left look sharper to me than the bird's head.
