Wow, awesome color in this photo. The light really seems to radiate from the bottle. I think the surface is a little distracting because of the fuzzy quality. Very nice photo.

For some reason...this strikes me as hilarious! Especially the fact that a guy is reaching for a really small bottle of passion. Kinda seems like a funny ad for Viagra. Funniness aside, it's very well done and I like it. You get an extra point for making me think and then laugh..8. :)

I can't believe people didn't think this met the challenge. In a way that is truly scary ... oh there is a bug .. and this is a "plant life" photo ... and someone explain to me how bugs are not part of a plants life ?? I dont know how the 3 winners combined all meet the challenge more than this. Too bad people can't think outside their small limited box.

Love your picture of the copper beetle (I think that is what they are called.) Great detail and well composed. I like your choice of depth of field - your bug is nicely focused and the rest nicely blurs out. However, I think this photo is more focused on the bug than the botany -not meeting the challenge very well.
