Snail on dead leafby chariotComment by Alecia: very nice--love the lighting and the DOF that really brings the snail and leaf into perspective. I also like the symmetry between the lines on the snail and the lines on the leaf. good eye and good job! |

Snail on dead leafby chariotComment by BAMartin: The lighting on the snail is incredible... including the fact that his antenna are backlit so that they are easily seen. I think the only (small) recommendation I would make is that I would have cropped it a bit tighter so that the shadow on the right was a bit less noticable. |

Snail on dead leafby chariotComment by lisae: Very beautiful. The depth of field is nice, the texture of the background, the contrast, the framing, but I especially love the paralell between the ribs in the leaf and the radial grooves all around the spiral of the snail's shell. 10 from me. |
