A tightly spun adventure in glorious black and white. The blown out tones give an expansive immediacy to the scene. The person in the wheelchair and the dog come off as heroic. I've never been able to tenderly treat rows of parked cars, but here we go. Enormously satisfying.

This image looks rather complex, but it was the real-world scene that evoked the complexity. Obviously this was accentuated by my edit, but what struck me, and what made me select it, was seeing the chaos in the real world. Hard to describe it.

Honestly, I'm quite happy that this didn't land so well with all of you. It's nice to have something just for myself now and then :-)

I've enjoyed much of your work and find it overall refreshing and a throwback to what 'art' in photography is or can be. However, that said, this one didn't speak to me at all in that way. I think I enjoy (need) something that is recognizable in the presentation to tell the story better. Didn't feel a story or connection with this one at all.
