I find this image hard to score. I have no idea what I'm looking at. But the image words on several levels. One is the rule of thirds, with the larger light portion at the leftmost 1/3 border, making a swoosh along the lower 1/3 border, and nothing detracts the eye from this subject. I also think the monochrome effect works well for this image.

I gave this a 7. It̢۪s not my type of image, but I found it striking. The interesting thing is that it still makes an impression , whereas other ones stayed about the same. Moving from 7 to 8
