Add to the "unexpected positives" this: I was one of your 9's; the image grabbed me from the get-go as being an actual, palpable depiction of an instant-in-the-life of a cat intense on its own explorations, not in any way being manipulated or idealized by the photographer. We see a LOT of cat pictures here, and mostly they are "portraits" of one sort or another that represent, so to speak, how a human wants to see their cat. THIS is cat-as-cat, unapologetic and real :-)
