Back to comment: I like the emotion this picture brings out, but I think that the processing was heavy handed on the face and hands. I think the emotion still would have come out with a lighter touch and yet would have looked more true to life.

You've captured a moment, definitely. The lady looks like she has the weight of the world on her. This is slightly more denoised then it needed to be. I think grain would have added to the shot but since I don't know what the before of this picture is I can't be sure.

For me the sharpening of her wrinkles in the face is overdone (white halos), otherwise a strong portrait.
