So beautiful! I tried to take this kind of shot while on vacation in Hawaii and quickly realized how much skill it takes to do it properly. I never got a great shot unfortunately, but this inspires me to keep trying. Lovely image.

That top photo is quite extraordinary. The quality of the second image is nowhere near as good, although it does tell the story. I wish the arm had been pp'd the same way as the fly on top

The bottom fly looks a little wrong and the arm should been given some motion blur to add impact.Still a fine image and in my top ten for sure.

This one. The blown highlights brigade might have jumped on that last one for a couple hot spots in the falls. I'm starting to really embrace that and actually love to see pure white, but you know how the technical voters go. This one is also a bit more dreamy and has more of a mood or story to it.

Amazing photo, and it should do very well.

There is something very odd about this image, Niall. Not that it's bad, but there's something a bit flat about it. Also, I do think you could crop out a bit of the clouds, and it would "improve" the balance/composition. The tones are too even or lacking contrast or something. I can't put my finger on it. I almost think this might be better in b/w

I love the warm summer tones of the other, but I think I agree with Scott -- this one might score better. The meandering lines and the late evening light on the grass are great. It is a shame the sky did not give you any interesting clouds. Again, Scott's suggestion of trimming a bit of sky and letterboxing the format sounds like something to experiment with.
