underpassby NiallOTuamaComment by wbanning: This style is so immediately identifiable, even for someone like me who is notoriously bad at guessing who's work I'm looking at. I'm noting this because not only is is recognizable, it's quite appealing to me. I gotta agree with Georges about the woman with the bag. Frankly the tilt isn't a problem - the problems you'd create by eliminating it would include creation of a not-really-symmetrical, symmetrical image. Lovely work! |

coordinatesby NiallOTuamaComment by GeorgesBogaert: Such a cool picture but in the wrong challenge. A 5 from me because it's about portrait. I would vote much higher vote if in a FS. |

foreshadowingby NiallOTuamaComment by flaherma: I had written a comment earlier but realized it came out all wrong. Sorry if I offended. I said your images are getting better which sounds ludicrous because they have always been intriguing. This one resonated with me a lot more for some reason, possibly due to the fact that sometimes I'm lazy while voting, I look for instant gratification rather than dwelling on an image. This offers a bit of a bridge between (for lack of a better term) artsy fartsy and a more conventional image. Does that make sense? Anyways, love the mystery, the movement, the light and the color. And gosh I hope this is Niall's work or none of this makes sense. If it's not Niall's I would be plain amazed. |

foreshadowingby NiallOTuamaComment by primabarbara: I love this kind of processing: it is enhancing the mystic scene very effectively. I'd like to try it but have no idea how you achieve this
