Comment by Matt414ce:
The texture of the leaves is intersting, but to me, the image is too busy with the lack of a central object that the image is about.

Foreground too dark and kind of out of focus

nice picture of the mountains. Is there any way you could have lightened the foreground--or taken this at a time of day with a bit more even light between the mountains and foreground--or used an ND filter (graduated).

Beautiful, if a little dark in the foreground. But I don't get a sense of being pulled into the distance.

Comment by Kemptonreporter:
You've given the viewer no clue as to what constitutes drama in this photo.
Are the trees, in semi-silhouette, dramatic?
Are the snow covered peaks dramatic?
Is the water dramatic?
etc..
A good picture (any media) will purposefully direct the viewer's attention.
We need to be guided.
It's your world.
You saw it.
Now tell us (show us) why it mattered.

You have, however got the "perspective" part of the deal right, in the sense that the water, the trees and the peaks (the main features) are all pictured relative to one another as determined by their relative distances from the viewer.
And that's more than I can say for most.
Good luck with your future endeavours!
I hope that at least some of this is helpful to you...

Hard to tell if this guy is stationary or in motion ;-). The lighting on the head really brings out the detail and the limited depth of focus on the shell helps lead my eye to those details. Not a lot of WoW factor to this image but it is very nicely done.
