Ack -- you're crooked. And the camera isn't giving us a 'ground up' perspective.

Comment by Kimbly:
Doesn't feel very close to the ground? Also, might have emphasized the tower more to be closer and to frame vertically.

Comment by BAMartin:
Having people in this picture adds a certain interest, makes it more than your typical building photo.

Nice sky. Maybe should have been taken closer to better reflect the subject of the challenge.

Comment by bobgaither:
I took pictures of the tower from several angles. I was underneath it and from all sides. The reason that I submitted this one is the road is going uphill and everything around it is going up. Thus from the ground up. I had close-ups of the tower and I could have blown this one up. The road is at an angle draining to the left. The tower naturally tilts to the right, so why would I want to straighten the tower? All towers don't go straight up and down. I think there is a famous one in Italy that does not.

Yes I wanted to get down close but security would not let me for I needed a pass. I could have blown up the image but I would have lost pixels. I thought, now forgive me, but the topic was transitions, thus the burnout and people waiting around for the race to begin.

Not more than a snapshot, to my eye... where's the transition?

Comment by Mousie:
despite a whole host of interesting cars, this has a 'snapshot' feel to me... it needs a more dramatic angle or something. there's a lot of detail and my eye isn't drawn to any one thing.
