Coffee in the Morningby newtune3Comment by willem: For me the image is a bit to sterile to transfer the smell of coffee. The smell of coffee could be associated with the warm color of morning light, with the structure of the coffee beans or powder. I would not have turned it B&W. Another tip when including highly reflective surfaces, you can use a sheet to screen of the environment and avoid many reflections, which makes the image stronger. |

Color-spider-to-portfolio-w.jpgby newtune3Comment by amazoneea: I like this photo better than the one you have entered in the challenge. But I cannot say that you did bad entering that one. There are a lot of people that like the B/W. Sometimes it is working for me too. But most of the times, I just can't give up the coloured world. I find it more expressive. The colour is talking to me. You have to be a genius to be able to express in B/W something that the nature itself needed colour to express. Do I make sense? But of course, after looking at the Ice Fall for a few hours, I don't like any B/W anymore. You might've been right to enter with the B/W because in colour, the spider doesn't look that wicked too me. Looks warm and friendly. I've been a great help, haven't I? I think you should see other opinions too. Anyway, I still like the coloured version. Thanks for sharing. |
