Nice colors and brightness, but the hot spot outlined in green at the bottom detracts from the overall impression. This subject may be an exception to the rule of thirds - I think it would work better centered all around.

Technical: fits the challenge. Exposure looks a little undercooked, composition could be stronger, focus seems a little soft, lighting seems a bit dim.

Personal: With no depth to the subject itself it's impossible to tell that it's concave, if it weren't for the title. It looks like a dressed up slice of glass fruit to me. Taken from a different angle this shot might have been stronger.

This is a great shot, makes me cold :) You captured the ice crystals that have formed on the plant perfectly, the dof is great good job
