Early Rowby nickybComment by Camabs: What's with the hole in the picture? Neat effect, but I'm not too sure if it's legal in basic.
As for the photo, I love the selective focus, but the tilted horizon distracts from it. |

Early Rowby nickybComment by bohemka: Normally the crooked horizon would bug me, but it really gives this a great feel, and accentuates the black of the the sky beyond the water that much more, as well as the mist off the water. Beautiful shot. |

Leavingby nickybComment by bobnospum: Often a good rule is to leave room for the subject to move into in the frame. In this case however, I like the position and framing of the subject. However the lack of sharp focus on the bird and large areas of bright white are holding this image back. |

Leavingby nickybComment by MaryO: Interesting effect. I might play with burning on the head a bit more to bring out those details, although as it is it kind of looks like he's flying into a supernatural ether and will vanish completely into it momentarily. |
