Reminds me of childhood in Oregon and hiking the "big hill" in early spring looking for the "shooting stars" as my mom called them. Makes me smile. Nice photo. I think a bit less shallow DOF that would have the near bud also in focus would have been better.

Since all 4 stages are the main subject, having a wider DOF which includes all of them may give more impact
