I wish I could see the crane lifting up something that looks very heavy or interesting. The triangle formed by the edge of the roof leading up to the top of the crane really makes the photo balanced. However the lack of anything really interesting in the photo to make a focus point keeps the photo in just the average range.

i would recommend working on the lighting. the top left corner is brighter than the lower right. also, i might be seeing things, but it looks like there is a shadow of someone's head too. as far as the desaturation goes, it looks good.
