Image is cropped a little too tightly for my taste. Would've backed up a bit and given a slightly wider angle. Noise from the effects of (over)sharpening are visible. NeatImage or other noise reduction software would've cleaned this up nicely.

You could have cropped off a whole lot of sky at the top, and made the image larger. All that sky at the top is putting your focus in the dead center.

This makes me wonder if it's part of a statue or else you got your child's first shoes bronzed, which I know a lot of people do. The lighting isnt bad, although the background can be seen near the top of the image, which is a little distracting. The full frame/crop is good too. I'm sure both this image and the boots will be a cherished memory for you!

Interesting concept, but I think the point (the strength of the crane lifting the large object) is lost by having such a wide angle view. On the other hand, the wide angle helps give it some scale.
