Additionally, it is highly interesting/eclectic meaning it keeps me here long enough to offer a longer comment and a vote of 8 or more.

This is one of my 8s - I like it. Furthermore I think it enriches the DPC collective portfolio. Put simply, I wish we saw more stuff like this. Let me tell you why it pushes all the right buttons for me:

1. Such superb execution of timing and focus is always compelling - you have it in spades here.

2. Perfect DOF - we have isolation of subject but with enough background context to ground the image within the wider environment.

3. Your image has a really pleasing colour palette too.

Overall, this is a standout bird-in-flight-shot.

Those pretty and delicate blue flowers look like bells ringing in Spring:-) There are some nice details on the petals. Two suggestions I have that could improve the composition are cropping closer to bring your audience even closer to the beauty of these flowers and a higher aperture with faster shutter to further eliminate some/all of those blown highlights on the petals.
