I like it but I'm not sure what the image is about because the title is implying the people are the focus which is not where the colour or focus is. It's good art though so i'm going to rename it in my head and vote on the imagery.

I carry only my M9 with one lens when I go on shoots downtown, no camera bag. It forces me to see compositions I would not normally pay attention to. Plus, it really helps to "get to know" that lens better. Each one has their own qualities. I am reinforcing what others have already stated, the precise DOF comp on the colorful leaves with the muted BG make this shot a keeper. Nice work.

It is fun to read your comments, that you pushed yourself to stick to the 105. In my case, I have to always push myself to change lenses, since I basically tend to put one lens on the camera and leave it there for a month or two or whatever :) I would just LOVE to own that lens, the Nikkor 105! A friend of mine let me try it just a little bit once, and I loved it!

That said. This is a beautiful find! I love the picture. Not much else to say, it is just a peaceful picture with beautiful warm/cool tones, and I like it.
