WOW! Gorgeous. After I enjoy (wallow in) the sensual delight of this comp, then I appreciate the effective use of DOF & framing. The light is great, too. You shot an everyday plant & revealed its exotic tropical soul. Why is this not on the front page where it clearly belongs?

An appealing image that contributes well to the challenge

A lovely night exposure. The lovely soft moonlight gives the scene an ethereal atmosphere that is very appealing. I do think it could have been improved with a larger DOF to get the foreground cactus nicely defined too, I have to agree with your commenter it does rather detract rather than add to the end result. Alternatively, using the cactus as a strong focal point with a softer background would have worked better.

Easily a stop dark. Falls flat and the OOF plant in the front is more distracting than anything. Other than being dark the processing is nicely done.
