It's a nice attempt. I think either over cropped or over processed. The composition leads my eye back to the well lit shell and I think the head and antennae are far more important, as is the water drop. I don't think it would be snapped up by NG, sorry.

Technically this is flawless and the fruit has a very interesting shape, I'm just not sure it is the right subject for this challenge, The tone is nice but it might be a bit to red for a sepia challenge.

There are very distinct sharpening halos around the edges of this, and the color is bordering on "rosy," but I like the subject and composition.
