downby mrbig65Comment by MadMan2k: When you have a flat plane like this wood surface, it's usually pretty easy to get the camera parallel to it so the whole thing is in focus. Your concept of having the flower out of focus in the foreground while the shadow is in focus is pretty cool. |

YKKby mrbig65Comment by JakeKurdsjuk: Nice idea, but the asymmetry and areas of focus/out of focus don't quire work for me. I'd like to see the frame shifted right a touch as well. |

YKKby mrbig65Comment by MadMan2k: I like the simplicity, but it's lacking in sharpness overall. |

To the holy city of Byzantium.by mrbig65Comment by MadMan2k: I think it would be better had the foreground cross been in focus. Looks like you were close to the ground, no reason not to use an aperture allowing full depth of field. I also would have suggested eliminating the out-of-focus object at center left. |

hookby mrbig65Comment by jgirl57: These look like little mushrooms.. I like the black and white on this and the details is pretty interesting. I really like how the light "shines through" the objects giving a bit of back lighting to the subject |
