If I were to take a stab at making this better, I would move in on the subject and frame the photo with the aqua colored curvey thing. (No purple in the top right corner.)

Very pretty shot....the light is nice on the boy. I would of liked a tighter crop on the young man. All the other angles, and pieces don't really add anything here and are distracting. Nice work and good focusing.
