I like the simplicity of this. I think you could have worked with the lighting (a tad bright) and composition a little more.

BW are seldom used at NG, certainly less of it in the past decade or so. It's risky to use it in an NG challenge. Most people EXPECT a colourful image of a yawning lion or a breaching whale. I like the image. It's minimalist with a huge expanse of negative space. But what story is it telling? I'm left empty. Have nothing to tie it in with, other than if it is referred to in the text, article it would be associated with. Publishable? Not on it's own merits I don't think, sorry.
