I normally hate studio shots but this one works on so many levels, technical, stylistic, visual and emotional, that it's impossible not to be very impressed, even moved by the retro look of days long past and unrecoverable as reminisced in that fading smile and far-away gaze. Tea is absolutely real. And hot :-) I drilled holes in both the cup and the spoon and screwed them together, but it wasn't very waterproof: I regularly had hot tea on the fingers, which was one of numerous reasons for a missed attempt. |
