A Lonely Danceby gyabanComment by tanguera: Wow, Christophe. You are the most elastic photographer I have ever seen. There does not seem to be a style you cannot own. |

A Lonely Danceby gyabanComment by timfythetoo: Cool capture. If I had my way I would have her be looking at the doll instead of looking slightly off camera. I think it would have been a more engaging image then. |

Iridescenceby gyabanComment by NiallOTuama: Initially I thought this was a little too colourful, but the more I look at it the more I like it. Nice shot. Love the eyes. Great 'teeth' too. I think the iridescence gives the impression that it's out of focus even though it's not. That probably hit you in a few votes. |

Iridescenceby gyabanComment by gyaban: Originally posted by Simms: To capture iridescence like this is no mean feat - hugely under-rated IMHO. |
Thank you. I'm an absolute beginner in macro photography, so I didn't expect an outstanding result, but I was quite impressed about what the 5D was able to do at high ISO settings (and also, denoising software's efficiency). Iridescence was killed in my tries with flash strobes, so I tried with ambiant light only (on a very cloudy and windy day). A great learning experience. |
