(6.9897 is however a rather sad indictment of a long term DPC lower voting trend now when compared with similar quality work of 2 or 3 years back.)

Thanks a lot Susan!
For the lightsaber, I used a plastic toy, that I dismembered in 2 parts, photographed separately: the handle first, then the blade itself. Since the latter was made of translucent plastic, I used black cardboard as a custom adapter to a studio strobe: this setup permitted me to obtain realistic reflections on the tank. Then in post-processing I enhanced the colors and added a 'glow' effect.
