The colors are great! The negative space is great. The focus is good. Now to be nittpicky the flame should have been centered with teh CD hole, but the candle should be centered too. So you needed a different candle :-P I like this shot though, really nice.

I don't really think there's much to explain once you know that it is glass, but I'm glad that people liked it. I had thought about doing bubbles and then realized that these candle holders had really cool bubbles in them. The trick was getting them in focus and lit well. Unfortunately, they reflected EVERYTHING in the room, but I was the only person. The brown thing on the right side is a cardboard box.
