Since you opted for color, why didn't you include the whole flag at the top? It would have been a nice touch. But this doesn't bother me as much as the fact that the horizon is slightly tilted to the right. Just a bit, but my mind cannot seem to ignore it :-(

People crossing a crosswalk after a heavy rain. That's my guess and I'm sticking to it.

Lovely take on bringing the beauty of the outside, inside. The light is also lovely for it illuminates the red roses and creates and interesting pattern on the wall behind. I like the color, but I also like the light and shapes from the glass vase to the table and window shade shadow that bring a comfortable home feel to this simple but elegant floral still life.
