This was the subject of one of my very first entries on DPC. I don't think I've ever seen it with the jetty leading to it under water. Must have been a very high tide on that day.

I like what you were trying to do, but i wouldn't have cropped it in as much. Your title is talking about the photograph in the frame, but your image is talking about the frame itself. just my 2¢

4 - sorry, it just doesn't grab me, no real point of interest or structure in the composition to draw me in. It is not quite abstract enough to be a pleasing set of shapes and tones and yet not quite realistic enough to be interesting as an object... perhaps if you used a slightly different viewpoint than straight on to the wheels to get more curves/intrigue happening? That is my taste - if you were after the effect you got and it works for you then that is what matters
