I am confused as to why this didn't score higher, but I'm glad to see it got some PH recognition. You captured the mood of a young man lost in his thoughts in an image with a pleasing composition and great colors and textures -- what's not to love?

Lovely colors and grain. I am rather new to DPC.......so if I may ask a question....not to be taken as a criticism....rather a point of discussion. This rule of thirds......sometimes it seems disconcerting to me. Why would I so much liked to have seen more of the image to the left of the cat and less of the right side of the image? I know the composition should work with the line of the cliff and waves but IMhumbleO it left the left side heavy. Do you have another shot standing back behind the cat so that the head would be to the right of the jetty.....or one with a tad less crop to the left? I would love to see the other shots in this photo shoot. Would you post them somewhere? Still beautiful....high mark.
