Sunset showers by NeatComment by roz: this is awesome Anita .. another very neat shot ..
the colours and the silhouette are your trademark ..
seeing a ribbon for sure ..
good luck btw .. some of the glasses and splashes are definitely your competition ..
for me .. and this is just a personal thing .. they are too sterile and set up .. this has an immediacy .. a humanity .. a delight .. and a beautiful oddness ..
first glance .. what is a man doing fully dressed in a shower .. love that quirky-ness ..
this is something that creates that lightbulb moment .. of realisation ..
very unique .. love it ..
favourite in the challenge for sure ..
only commenting for now .. |

Peace serenityby NeatComment by streetpigeon: Clever, fetching sleight of hand. The sand, sea and sunset and two casually placed people throw viewers for a loop as their shadows transform the background to a vertical wall. There's a subtle, unsettling further twist in the peoples' shadows, as they fall in opposite directions. Easy to see this image in a museum.
Beautifully accomplished. |

The role of the father’s are underrated by NeatComment by Neat: Originally posted by Venser: Originally posted by vawendy: Originally posted by Venser: Title bothers me.
It's not correct English.
Did you mean "The role of fathers are underrated"?
As written, you need another word after "father's" because it's possessive. The father's what is underrated? |
Actually, if you want to be pedantic, I believe it should be "The role of fathers is underrated." of the fathers is a prepositional phrase. So the verb should agree with the singular "role" :)
But this was my highest score, because fathers and their roles are underrated as a society. |
There's nothing pedantic about it.
It's either correct or not. And you're correct, it should be singular. |
PEDANTIC - describing someone who annoys others by correcting small errors, caring too much about minor details, or emphasizing their own expertise especially in some narrow or boring subject matter. |
