Light Practiceby giantmikeComment by Venser: #2, tied with another.
The huge negative space is what really makes this image. It's extremely well composed. Nothing else to really say about it. |

Cheers! by giantmikeComment by beatabg: Great picture, great idea, awesome reflections, nice symmetry. (I'm kinda freaking out about what's gonna happen on 11/28 though. What if there is no time for celebration? What if Bieber will really kill us with his voice? Hahahah.) Back to the picture, congrats on the ribbon. Definitely deserved! |

Fighting Cavitiesby giantmikeComment by CNovack: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
I've heard about peppermint flavor toothpaste but this takes it to extreme:-) Definitely not the proper way to brush one's teeth but this is definitely a way to satisfy your sweet tooth and brush at the same time:-) Some of the highlights are blown such that I can barely see the outline of the candy cane in the white areas and the toothpaste tube. Perhaps having the light shine from behind as well as the front so that it would 'halo' around and outline the main elements better. That or see about closing down the aperture during exposure to let in a little less light to prevent blowing the whites/highlights. |
