I have been wondering why this is so effective, why I couldn't bring myself to comment. The extraordinary precision delivers a finely wrought tale, where the concentration on detail is a meditation on acceptance of the unacceptable. For some reason I am reminded of Rilke. in the Duino Elegies, a strangely abstract exhortation to plunge into the particular.

This is intense.
I really like this shot, because it sorta puts the viewer on edge. I like that it feels a bit underexposed, it adds to the mood.
Personally, I disagree with the comment about the title. I always view titles secondary to the image, and I knew exactly what this was about before reading the title. If anything, I think the title itself doesn't quite carry the gravity that the picture holds. The perspective is really nicely chosen. Great work.
