I like the moody highlights and shadows in your B&W tones. The action of her kicking the soccer ball and seeing the concentration in her stance is good. The B&W presentation makes this a very artsy shot I feel. I feel that this shot would have done better in a themed challenge more suited to the subject/action taking place such as children, sports, action, or B&W. In those challenges the picture speaks for itself. That is it's strength. Most of the times I take a firm stance with "Show, don't tell". The title is what is working really hard to show a connection to the Superpowers challenge. This picture relies too heavily on the 'tell' portion to make the connection. A different challenge more suited to what highlights the action/subject in the picture would allow this picture to shine (and most likely be more favorably accepted by the general audience)
