Is that a bug? I don't consider that to be food, but if you eat them more power to ya. Well composed photo and good texture to use black and white with, but there might have been a way to put more emphasis on the bug vs. the background.

I didn̢۪t vote on this challenge, in anticipation of the boring, aesthetically vacuous stuff that I assumed would win all the accolades, and I was right. So now I̢۪m just following posthumous down here on the forest floor, nibbling at his crumbs. Yours is fabulously crummy, by which I mean very a good and original and ambitious; an interesting photograph, and I̢۪d have given it at least an 8. Not that you care much about that I expect. Overall the picture is dark and moody. But Pinocchio's eyes convey an attitude of alarm that seem to be a contradiction to the overall mood of the photo. Lighting works - dark, but just not quite too dark.
