Without reading the title its hard to tell what the subject really is. Try to fill the frame with more of your subject. Its probably a bit awkward to try and take this photo.

Aim up a foot or two. (I wanted to stare at the mowhawk, too.) Good focus, color. Swing up and move to your right just a hair (ha) and this would have been a 10. Very humorous!
