I like you photo very much!!!
Ideas for a better image:
1 - Put some color in the borders;
2 - Write your signature in the lower right corner;
3 - Use some kind of filter to blur the sides of the image and bring more focus to the center and the ball.

Pleasantvilleby MinsoPhotoComment by dahlin: I'm sure many will not like the selective desat, but I'm a big fan. The shadows of the sun are harsh. The balance in the image detracts just a bit, but overall a nice simple image. |

Painting the Roses... Orange???by MinsoPhotoComment by vawendy: I like the idea (I definitely got the alice in wonderland reference!), but the lighting seemed a little flat to me. I would have liked a little more side lighting on one side, or something, to bring out the dimensionality a little more. The leaf on the right has good relief, but the roses seem to lack details and depth. |
