Wow...that's just brutal! This was my top pick...and it was hard to choose because there was such tough competition. Lots of orignial ideas and takes on others previously used. This was very origninal. Nice capture of action with just enough shutter speed. Well done!

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: There's something about this image that make it standout - it actually pulled me make from the next one in voting . I think the slight tone mapping is measured to perfection and so is are the saturation levels too. The overall subject is pretty enough too but I get a real sense of your photography actually adding to the scene.

Critical stuff: Not much - perhaps you could have added some more contrast into the sky, though I admit that might detract attention away from your primary subject.

Overall: A very well crafted image.
