The Long Sprint Home by jagarComment by SwordandScales: Jagar,
I came back to this image while I was looking at another portfolio and wanted to say this about it, and believe me, I speak the truth.
When I think of HCB and what he would do in a situation, I think of many of his images while I'm standing at the street corner, or waiting an hour for the right person to step into the scene.
I also think of this image...but, and this is where I must be honest, I often forget that this shot does not belong to Henri...it belongs to you! I literally get you and HCB confused.
If someone ever said the latter to me, I can't imagine how I'd feel, so just know that I find this to be an amazing image, and one that I think of daily as an example of the finest street photography. |

The Stilt Fishermen of Kathaluwa by jagarComment by Oz: Great processing here; the deep blacks work very well with the image.
(from the processing and letterbox border I would guess this is Bear_Music but I'm not sure..) I was sort of doubting he had gone to Sri Lanka... Message edited by author 2012-02-25 14:12:25. |

Faith Knows The Final Scoreby jagarComment by dtremain: The music director is too easy to miss, and is crucial to tying the shot to "music". The picture is quite "busy" with lots of focal points. The points do tie nicely together in tone and interest. |

Faith Knows The Final Scoreby jagarComment by mcaldo: Darn brilliant. Either staged or the priest is quite a nice guy (or he threw an aspersory at you an instant later, I know a few that would)
